Become an expert on how you learn most effectively.  Our foundational LLIT Program (Learning Lab Ignition Term) uses goal-setting, accountability partnering, and creative iteration to strengthen your academic and professional performance.  You will meet through Zoom or in person with your Learning Specialist four times for 45 minutes over the course of the quarter.  This programming is for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.

"When working on group projects, I like to think through my ideas before meeting with the group. This helps me feel engaged, present, and effective when in conversation with my teammates."

"I started using the SQ3R reading technique, and it saved me a lot of time with my readings, while I ended up understanding more content. I used to focus a lot on details and struggled to get the main ideas. This technique helps me to differentiate main from supporting ideas as I read."

“I like to plan my week on Sundays, color-coding some activities (for instance, focus time in green, social time in red). In this way, I make sure I am allocating enough time to study or exercise.  It’s an easy way to see if I’m missing something like my orange code for resting time.”
